Ric Zere and Gabriel Habit aka Knowmans have rapidly ascended in the scene since their formation in 2010. Having tipped the ears of tastemakers and released music on Randall’s Mac II imprint, Play Me, Co-Lab, Soul Deep Recordings and more, we welcome the California based duo as they step up for their first release on CODE Recordings.

The moody “Nimbus” floats like a cloud but stings like a bee as it drifts from an atmospheric roller into a simple but effective vibey sub-led roller that’ll make it rain on the floor.

On the flip side, “Snacks” is a jazz-tinged tune that’ll leave punters hungry for more. Mixing horns and flutes with its wide-ranging bass, the track brings a unique flavor in a variety of sets, proving that Knowmans is a duo to watch and a group that knows how to flex a range of styles in their productions.
